Meet the team redefining athlete representation
Joseph A. Frio, Esq. is an NFLPA-certified agent, licensed Pennsylvania attorney, active football coach at Saint Joseph's Preparatory High School in Philadelphia, PA, and Sports Law Professor at LaSalle University. He is one of the rare agents in the country who combines all four credentials — meaning every single line of every contract is personally reviewed by a lawyer who answers to the Pennsylvania Bar, understands the game from a coaching perspective, and teaches NIL law to the next generation of lawyers.
From 2016-2023, Joseph worked alongside experienced NFL Agents Hadley Engelhard and James Ulrich negotiating NFL contracts and pursuing marketing opportunities for professional clients. Since 2023, Joseph has practiced law alongside experienced attorney Ronald J. Cappuccio, Esq., helping business owners structure their companies for financial success and liability protection. Since 2018, Joseph has coached football at Saint Joseph's Preparatory School, helping young men achieve success on and off the field. As a Sports Law Professor, Joseph educates LaSalle undergraduate students on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) law and relevant NCAA policy. This isn't just representation — it's full-spectrum athlete protection.
